Mountain Wilderness. Paintbrush, penstemon, and dozens of other

species in full bloom.

Thanks for the kind words, Matej. Actually, there was virtually no retouching of this image, other than repairing some dust spots from the scan, and unsharp masking. Velvia does this kind of color cast very well on its own!

Wow, what a beautiful paintbrush shot! The DOF and color are outstanding. I have a shot of paintbrushes in one of my galleries, too (http://korylidstrom.smugmug.com/gallery/3668001#209650593), but I like yours even better. Nicely done.
