Kind of a side shot of the Horsetail Falls in Oregon near Multnoma falls.

Took this picture on a trip to Oregon.

Trying to take in some of the suggestions I have received from other

photos I've submitted. I tried not to exactly center the waterfall.

Also tried not to make it too dark... but I think I failed there.

They always turn out dark.

Other then that I just think it's a good shot. Please someone tell

me I'm wrong.

Maybe you could crop off some of the bottom and maybe a little of the right. That would make the fall a bit more diagonal.

But: I miss the light playing with the water (and the background)!

That is a great shot. It captures the sheer beauty of mother nature.

 

This feels underexposed. I like what you were going for; I can appreciate the composition, but a slower shutter speed would have blurred the water nicely. Of course, you'd still have to put the camera on a tripod and stop the aperture way down to get a nice depth-of-field, THEN make sure that the water remains a brilliant white rather than going gray.

 

I know, I'm nitpicking. Sorry, dude. Still a nice shot with a lot of potential.

I like to strong off-center location of the waterfall, and the dry valley on the right. Works to balanace and tease! Good job at shooting from water level, rather than from higher up.
