Kenvin, great job. I love to see other artists do creative things that involve imagination and hard work other than just photoshop. This is just an awsome creative technique that really works. I think you should do a whole collection (SERIES) like this.

I appreciate Michael Seewald's cropped, foot burned and framed version, but I do think it makes a different statement because it boxes the subject in, and quite severely at that. While the openess of the original version may seem too loose, I personally think it goes well with the sense of movement and freedom that is suggested by being under water like this. I don't want her to be confined too much.

I like the openess of the original photo. I think that cropping in creates a different feel that is not as attractive. The movement and flow of the subject need the space in my opinion. The colors are wonderful and I like the pose of the model. I can imagine that is difficult to capture underwater. There is only one thing about this photo that bothers me a little. Some of the lines created by the fabric seem stiff to me. the overall feel is like an oil painting. Given the liquid nature of the subject, I might have preferred those details to be a little softer. That is just my personal opinion though. I think as a whole this is very well done.

I use this site for inspiration. After seeing your portfolio, I can say that there is not one photo of yours that does not inspire me to work harder. There is not one photo not worthy of being a “photo of the week”.

fantastic treatment, original composition, brilliant vision to create this end result. This for me is a work of art, mythical and captivating, allowing my mind to wonder and dream of a story to fit this image.

I have to be in awe of a couple of facts. The amount of gossamer material the model is handling coupled with how water density deals with that kind of material has to have posed an extraordinarily difficult situation for composure. When the fact that the model has to surface in mere seconds, only to recycle the pose again boggles the mind. I think composition here would have to be more related to final choice of available images obtained at the shoot much like shooting a sports event.

I am inclined to agree with the cropping of the right side. For the shot in general, It’s simply a fine piece of art.

Perhaps not as "grand" looking as this POW at first sight - less spectacular because in that one the pool is a pool, whereas here it tries to look like a sea :-) - , but this pix id=6149801 is really funny, and very well done, imo.

for this one, it appears that you used trees - real "overwater " trees and leaves ? - to create this underwater world... which imo just can't work, because underwater plants are just not the same as the ones growing on the ground up there... And so, this is what made me even more suspicious of the technique used to generate this POW's background...
Anyway, eventhough I wasn't very positive about this POW, I also wanted to congratulate you on quite an amazing body of work, and very obvious first class PShop skills and artistic skills... If I had to give you one single word of advice - although you may not even need it, in fact... :-) -, that word would be "Restraint".
Why so ? Well, because I believe you CAN actually do so many things with your amazing skills, that you may still sometimes get a bit "lost" and try things which are either just impossible to achieve, or not appropriate for the subject matter you chose... This POW or at least this id_6365575 pix (where I could see more background details) are examples of impossible things, which you needed not to do, and which you tried. Whereas sometimes something simple and more effective would work better. I think you need, in order to get technically clean" underwater backgrounds, to simply dive into the real sea and bring back some real underwater elements. Or you may stay with us, on the ground... and shoot lovely series like your art nude or fashion or kebaya series - which are the ones I like best in your folders. No matter what, I applaude your courage, your vision and your skills. With just a bit of restraint and technical realism, I can't see what would stop you from being one of the very best Pshop masters in Asia. Selamat pagi, kawan...:-)
