Brianna's Senior Portrait

This is my cousin's senior portrait that I took for her. I am looking

for critiques on lighting in this photo.

Too bright on her face and nose. But gorgeous smile.

The light is to bright on her shoulder and face. Try using a diffusion screen, to soften the light next time. Other than that I like the photo.

Light is too uneven on face -- i.e., too much contrast. But she does have a nice smile. I bet you took this photo in the middle of the day. If you are going to do that, you should hope for a cloudy day or use fill flash or reflector to get rid of the harsh shadows on the face.
