mind ink 0 Posted June 25, 2002 this, to me, is a great picture (and the word i'm looking for is akin to breathtaking but with a bit more power to it). I'm no pro but what I like about it is that you can see into the distance and I can't tell if it's at dock or coming in to dock so to me it has motion too. my only problem is discerning what that is in the bottom right corner? I'm assuming it's a dock... (i think this is the most time in my life i used the word dock) ;) keep em coming! Link to comment
tels7ar 0 Posted June 25, 2002 nice composition. large block of ice in foreground provides a nice balance for the ship the background. I'd like to see a little more of the ship, maybe a slightly wider crop if possible. Link to comment
christian deichert 1 Posted June 26, 2002 Outstanding shot; I love the subtle coloring of the ice. I wouldn't mind seeing more space around the ship in the background, but I'm not sure if it would add to the photo or just change it. Lovely colors. Link to comment

dant 0 Posted August 12, 2002 More of the ship would've give more power. But knowing the difficulties of the shot I'd say that the result is very good. Confusing light as I don't know if I'm freezing or not. This makes me wish to be there. Link to comment
