Alone in Huay Sua Tao

This photo was taken at the Huay Sua Tao refugee camp in the

Maehongson area of NW Thailand.

 

Although people were looking after the other small children in the

area, this child was not being cared for.

 

I feel this photo captures the sense of abandonment.

 

Some photos do not capture or convey beauty but strive to convey

emotions.

It is unfortunate that we see those thing in the world in our days. You did capture a very sad but true reality. There are some pictures that you look at and you are impressed with the colors, contrast, etc. But this one makes you feel something. It represents feelings. It sends a message.
