regis 0 Posted August 28, 2007 I'm still exploring Ayrshire Coast places and a trip to Turnberry Bay was the most recent one. Amazing places, full of wonderful colours & structures when the tide is low. The Lighthouse visible in the distance is Ayrshire's only mainland lighthouse and stands within the remans of Turnberry Castle (where Robert the Bruce was probably born in 1274). The small island on the right is Aisla Craig - a natural seabird reserve, which is considered to be one of the most important breeding sites for northern gannets. It is also a haven for other seabird species, including guillemot and razorbill. Please have a look at the larger version. Your comments/critiques much appreciated. Link to comment

brian.simonds 0 Posted August 28, 2007 I like the way the bright green in the foreground draws your eye which is then lead by the diagonal shore line towards the lighthouse and the beautiful sky. The only down side for me is the island in the distance top right is a bit of a featureless blob. Link to comment
srr 0 Posted August 29, 2007 Piotr, your work is very impressive - including this one. The clarity from front to back is excellent. I also read your recent comments on images posted by others. You provide helpful feedback. Link to comment

morganscribe 0 Posted September 7, 2007 You've solved the major problem of landscapes and that is where to start the bottom. It works all the way to the lighthouse with visual tone and color changes and surprises all the way. It reads "authentic" as opposed to over manipulated to me. Nice Job! Link to comment
richygale 0 Posted September 24, 2007 wonderful work I like this much better than the landscape version, the image has so much depth and detail super sky and great focal point in the light house. Very well done. Rich. Link to comment

jessica_mchargue 0 Posted February 16, 2009 seem to make this one work so well, I enjoy the the curvature of the shoreline and the pebbles at your feet. I love the cropping of this photo as well. Link to comment
