nadejda krasteva 0 Posted August 26, 2007 This works well as a snapshot, but for a real portrait some details need to be fixed:) Try not to centre the person you are photographying but placing him or her on either side. Zooming a bit more would also emphesize on her rather than the background that in my opinion is too much. In a portrait, the background even though important is not as significant as the person itself. And one last advice, don't cut the body where her knees are, either bellow or above them :)) Overall a good first attempt:) Link to comment
lisa_murray 0 Posted August 26, 2007 i think that you have alot going for you with this photo and ample room for improvement. you have a good subject but i would suggest choosing a more natural pose for her. good lighting and exposure. choose your background wisely, imo the one pictured here doesn't fit what i think you are trying to achieve. it looks way to busy and doesn't support her portrait in anyway. good start:) Link to comment
