There is nothing like a P51. fine shot.

Good works Alex - thi image is so crisp that it almost looks unreal! Good work - the only way I can think to make it better is to replace the Mustang with Spit:)

I dont think the fine characteristics of the spit would show up in this photo, they;d be in shadow. Which is fine here since the metal finish is so shiny...

 

 

Great photo Alex, i like this photo infact because its backlit, its probably how most german fighters would have seen the plane so it seems to fit here. The best part though is that it looks like you are in a plane and doing an air-air photo shoot.

You know, Dan, I think you made three points in that post - all of them excellent! Especially the one about the "German pilot" point of view! I think it dawned on me why I found this photo so compelling. Then again, this is not a rare occurance with Alex`s work.
