single photos The Beginning or the End?

The only modification from the 8x12 print scan was a 0.7 clockwise rotation to get the horizon level. Other than that it is an unaltered full frame.

Since it's pointless and irks me for people to rate a photo without leaving a comment, here's mine. Overall this is a beautiful sunrise/sunset picture, for such tricky lighting especially.It would be nice to compare this photo to one taken with a neutral density filter to see if you could have brought out more detail/color in the clouds at the top but it works the way it is. I gave it a 9 for aesthetics (because it is so nice) and an 8 for originality (because so many of these have been done but not as many the way you did) Good job!

Unfortunatly I didnt have a ND filter at the time. It was taken on holidays, and all i had with with my was recently aquired Yahisca Fx3 with a 50mm f2 and a 28mm 2.8.. But the result with an ND would have been interesting, however I also didnt have a tripod with me, + the ship was a'rockin so I think this shot without one is pretty good :)

I just pulled out the old Yashica + I'm gonna give it another shot, but I unfortunatly don't see any holidays coming up where i could repeat this photo :( (would be nice tho)
