Technically, I think your photo is well done. I may have used a larger aperture to blur the background a bit more, but that may be personal preference.

I don't like the facial expression she has, though. I can't figure out exactly what this photo is saying. I think the arm in the left of the frame is a bit distracting as well - it seems like she could almost be reaching around and taking the photo of herself. A tighter crop, I think, could solve that problem
