Beautiful,peaceful,piece.Wonderful tonal range and tonal gradations.The smooth water is supported by the nice textures in the trees and the dark piece of land arcing into the water gives a nice horizontal relief to the vertical, rising trees and branches.

For myself I like the top cropped down just into the crown of the tallest tree a little to connect me with the water a little more and allow my eye to see the solitary tree by the waters edge more.Curious as to what a graduated neutral density filter would have done to hold back the sky just a tad bit.I know the light values must have been transitioning quite rapidly at the time of exposure.Great capture.It must have been great to have been there in the moment.Thanks for giving us a taste.Walt Byrnes

A very delightful image. I love the way the highlights frame the shadows and the use of triangles in the composition. I  would be proud to hang that one in my living room!
