agrandemange 0 Posted June 25, 2002 Great shot. Color would have ruined this picture. Link to comment
pat_krentz 0 Posted July 9, 2002 I agree with Alain, also xp2 prints well with a cold light enlarger, did you print this yourself? Pat Link to comment
imprezzions 0 Posted July 10, 2002 the lighting and tone accentuate the mood of the child. Link to comment
jeff_clark 0 Posted July 19, 2002 I completely disagree with this C-41 film. It has no shadow detail and is, in my opinion, an overated film in regard to speed. Rated at 400 iso like on the package, it's at least 2/3 stops underexposed. If you think I'm crazy, look at her left knee vs. her hair. You should have a lot more detail than this, but this is what you get you don't take the time to be technically proficient, develop your own film techniques, personal film speed, etc etc. Remember, C-41 psudo B/W film is just one step away from digital so don't complain when there is no good film left! The image is nice, but I get the "on vacation and fed up" feeling with the scene. Link to comment
unrealtrip 0 Posted July 22, 2002 I like this photo a lot, however if I had only one item of constructive criticism, I would say that I would have composed it differently. Maybe put her down on in the bottom right, or definitely more to the right side. She's looking out of the picture into the unknown with a large gap on her right, er our right her left. :) I like it though! -Tony Link to comment
