This is an image of such sadness, that I almost did not want to deal with it. I must, however, comment on the photography: It is simply a wonderfully taken photograph: beautifully composed, with the lighting just perfect. It is good that we cannot see the girl's face clearly. So she personifies her longing for better things and better times to come....Bert
