pmorgan 0 Posted August 20, 2007 I love the way that people who give scores of 3/3 hide behind their anonymity, why can't you stand by your scores and explain why you gave them! Link to comment

lonebearimages 0 Posted August 20, 2007 Paul, this is not only an interesting landscape, with drama; but it is more importantly, a beautiful portrait. This is an image that I think that your daughters will treasure for many years to come, not only did their father take it, but it really emphasizes the bond of sisterhood. Very well done, my friend. A 7/6 anon. Cheers! Chris Link to comment

botikario 0 Posted August 20, 2007 The envy...., this is the explanation of 3/3.... This is a great photo. This site must change some rules. Link to comment
sasha_bulovic 0 Posted August 20, 2007 This is such a wonderful work... Can you please give me a short note how did you make colours to look like that??? Thank you... ;-) Sasha Link to comment
dennisdixson 0 Posted August 20, 2007 Well, anyone who rates this 3/3 certainly didn't come here to learn anything. Or to contribute anything for that matter. In the end ratings are pointless when it comes to artistic self expression. Part of me wants to see more of the girls faces but that would probably end up looking too posed which would defeat the feeling of this photograph. I would say that you have achieved a good balance between all the elements within the frame. This is an outstanding expression of your personality as a photographer and captures a fleeting memory of youth which passes much to quickly. That cloud in the upper right corner looks like an eye to me. Does anyone else see that? Link to comment
pmorgan 0 Posted August 20, 2007 Thanks Dennis! I hadn't, but now that you mention it.... Rgds Paul Link to comment
photobiscuits 0 Posted August 20, 2007 Great photo, I like the sense of movement here, the wind in the hair and the clouds and the water. The desaturation of colour adds to the feeling of a chilly autumn day on the shore. The title, "My Sunshine" kind of disturbs me as the colours are so gray and cool but that's irrelevant. It's an excellent photo, nice job =) Link to comment
pmorgan 0 Posted August 20, 2007 Hi Mike thanks for the comment. The title was meant to depict that although the weather was grey, my children are all the sunshine I need. Rgds Paul Link to comment

giggles 0 Posted August 21, 2007 Beautiful portrait! I like the desaturated tones and the wide angle perspective. Great idea and I understood the title immediately. Congratulations on beautiful girls and a photograph you'll cherish forever! Link to comment
