steve_bingham 0 Posted October 2, 2007 Thanks, Marc. Yes, he was a very intelligent and grizzled character. Link to comment
mcpoljak2003 0 Posted October 3, 2007 Yes, texturally, the wood and flesh are of one - both aged, both a little worn out, but still loaded with character - my kind of people. I won't comment on the technical prowess of the shot; it speaks for itself. I've looked at this photograph for about 2 hours tonight - trying to imagine the history that you've captured within those eyes. Is this the face of wisdom? Perhaps. But perhaps it's just an old man behind a wooden door investigating a noise outside. I think the beauty of the image is somewhere in between - it keeps you guessing. Thank you, MP. Link to comment
vicenteconcha 8 Posted October 9, 2007 Excellent portrait. The manufacture of the wood and the face of the old one, are the suggestion of a dark and strange past. Congratulations. Best wishes. Vicente. Link to comment
mg 0 Posted September 16, 2008 How about a different framing - not as tight as this, and perhaps even vertical - for this amazing face...? Link to comment
