david israel 0 Posted August 19, 2007 Hello Puck, I wish I could say this was my idea but I have seen similar photos like this on this site and that what has inspired me to try this out. I like the final version, so I figured I would post.. Thanks for your comments!! David Link to comment
shutternick 0 Posted August 19, 2007 Great piece - love how the contrast flows, yet colors punch out in the photo. Nice job! Link to comment
andrewcampbell 1 Posted August 19, 2007 This idea has been done before. Nevertheless, I feel the crop is too tight (especially at bottom, and it could be sharper. Cheers! Link to comment
jmcconnell2 0 Posted August 19, 2007 Nice colors, but the composition is too stiff. Maybe change the angle of some of them? Link to comment
ahmet_yetis 0 Posted August 20, 2007 I like the blending of B&W and pastel colors in the composition. It is a pleasing capture overall. One little humble advise from me would be trying to eliminate the shadows of pencils above on the pencils below, may be using multiple sources of light or a fill-flash... Link to comment
markrstanton 0 Posted August 20, 2007 Very effective! I am new to the world of photography - how exactly did you achieve this? Would be keen to give something like this a go... Thanks Link to comment
