I wish I could say this was my idea but I have seen similar photos like this on this site and that what has inspired me to try this out.

Great piece - love how the contrast flows, yet colors punch out in the photo. Nice job!

This idea has been done before. Nevertheless, I feel the crop is too tight (especially at bottom, and it could be sharper.

Nice colors, but the composition is too stiff. Maybe change the angle of some of them?

I like the blending of B&W and pastel colors in the composition. It is a pleasing capture overall. One little humble advise from me would be trying to eliminate the shadows of pencils above on the pencils below, may be using multiple sources of light or a fill-flash...

Very effective! I am new to the world of photography - how exactly did you achieve this? Would be keen to give something like this a go...
