Used to be a flower in another life...

Not sure how I missed this one, Kim, but I agree with the rest that this makes me think of pumpkins. Love the color, love the comp. Always amazed to see what you started with and where you were able to take it...your creative talents are very impressive. It's been a while since we've seen distorted flowers, glad you did one again.

 

Sorry to hear about the contest, though. You and Ed worked really hard on it. I especially liked his spider and your bullfrog. Oh, and that suspended leaf...very cool. :)

 

 

Hi Kim, I think I am in agreement with everyone else. We all love these flower distortions! Great colors, very well done! Great to see the original...but hard to believe the 2 images are even remotely related!

Thanks, everyone! I space these out so no one gets too tired of them. Plus not all flowers work with this technique.
