stephenh 0 Posted June 22, 2002 Excellent nude portrait. Assuming your model was comfortable with posing, she should absolutely love this. I like the photo's format, too. Nice job. Link to comment
twmeyer 0 Posted June 26, 2002 A very direct portrait, engaging but not revealing, which makes it more interesting to me. Your background's tone is almost identical to her skin. Since she is so light (and delightfully monochromatic!) I would have set her against a darker, or a graduated background, with the lighter area behind (to the right) of her face, so that her shadowed back was against the grey you have here, and her face against a tone slightly darker than her skin. and maybe a square crop... t Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted June 28, 2002 I like this...the skin-tone background works for me. Nicely defined and SHARP outline goes well with the soft and open/mischievious face. Appealing model. It read 5.88/5.25 when I rated. Oh well...to each his/her own! I'll check out your portfolio-Thanks. Link to comment
kelvin_chao 0 Posted June 30, 2002 Nicely executed portrait. Catch lights at 11 o'clock as they should be. Very effective lighting. Just nit picking maybe but when shooting portraits and having total control over most elements of the shot I would have chose to shoot her from her right side/reversing the pose. I assume that she does not have a scar on her right deltoid. Link to comment
jerrymat 5 Posted July 5, 2002 As presently photographed I think the image could benefit from increased contrast, either in darkroom printing or in computer software. Link to comment
jbdean 0 Posted January 18, 2008 This is a perfect portrait as is. Great expression, sensuous model, lovely lines, and the light is beautiful. Well done! Link to comment
