vikramdmello 0 Posted August 16, 2007 although i care little for nature shots in general, alexa, this one is particularly captivating. beautifully composed with a lot of depth (and depth-of-field), which is always the challenge in such scenes. you perhaps did not plan for it, or notice it, but the tree motif is somewhat echoed in the clouds! carry on - vikram. lex_photo 0 Posted August 16, 2007 This was a great surprise as I looked at the pictures. What do you think? Thanks for all comments, critiques, and ratings. Thanks - Lex Link to comment
lex_photo 0 Posted August 16, 2007 Hi, I didn't plan on tree being echoed in the clouds. In fact, I don't even remember taking the picture. When I got them back this was a wonderful surprise. Thanks for your comments -Lex Link to comment
atanu_ghosh1 0 Posted August 19, 2007 WOnderful landscape in portrait format...but few suggestions - (1) horizon seems a bit tilted (2)the tree on the left seems to be unusually cropped, I would prefer to have it full (3) the colours can be saturated a bit Link to comment
lex_photo 0 Posted August 19, 2007 Atanu Thanks for your comments since I'm unable to right at the moment go back and try to get the whole tree, I've tried to address your other two comments, and would love to hear what you think. I've saturated the picture a bit (I'm not sure what I think about how I did it, it seems more blurry to me), and I've straightened it out. Thanks again for your insight! - Lex Link to comment
