fernando monreal 0 Posted August 15, 2007 Hello Glen, the photo is well executed, you ask about composition, well it would be surely better if the leading lines of the foregrounds leads directly to the sun. but pherhaps it was impossible to find this angle in the scene, i hope it is not a composite of more than one exposure for me it rest merit. f. Matthew Brennan 3 Posted August 15, 2007 Composition is spot on here, I like the position of the sun, love the reflection of the sun on the very end of the left side rock platform - very warm and welcoming. The dark shelf under the left rock in foreground is exposed perfectly here. Link to comment
aral 0 Posted August 15, 2007 Lovely colors and tones. Just a thought, but there is not very much happening on the right side of the frame. Anyway, 6/6. Link to comment
zigzag 0 Posted August 15, 2007 Thanks all, these comments are really useful. This is a spot I can return to so I will be working on: 1. Finding a spot that points directly at the sun, 2. Maybe interest both sides, 3. A little earlier when the sun is that bit lower, 4. More interesting sky, 5. Slightly longer exposure (more milkiness), 6. Waiting for the incoming wave for best action.
