Great composition and colors

Hello Glen, the photo is well executed, you ask about composition, well it would be surely better if the leading lines of the foregrounds leads directly to the sun. but pherhaps it was impossible to find this angle in the scene, i hope it is not a composite of more than one exposure for me it rest merit.

Composition is spot on here, I like the position of the sun, love the reflection of the sun on the very end of the left side rock platform - very warm and welcoming. The dark shelf under the left rock in foreground is exposed perfectly here.

Lovely colors and tones. Just a thought, but there is not very much happening on the right side of the frame.

Thanks all, these comments are really useful. This is a spot I can return to so I will be working on:

1. Finding a spot that points directly at the sun, 2. Maybe interest both sides, 3. A little earlier when the sun is that bit lower, 4. More interesting sky, 5. Slightly longer exposure (more milkiness), 6. Waiting for the incoming wave for best action.

This is so beautiful. I live in a land-locked state and this photo gave me a brief vacation. I thank you.
