Pisces

Well, I was giving my dogs a couple of dried sprats just now as a

special treat, then realised how sexy they looked with the light

glistening on them. I took this picture of Pisces (Latin

for "fishes") using the 18-55mm EF-S lens modified to fit the Eos

10D. Only daylight was used, with a white reflector made from a

folded sheet of A4 printer paper. Shutter speed 1/30sec so I had to

have a steady hand again :)

Any comments would be much appreciated. As I said before, macro

isn't really my thing, but the more I'm looking at different

potential "subjects" the more I am seeing them in closer detail.

Unique composition. What you shot, you did well. Can't say much about the subject. Maybe a fish market might buy it. Neat shot. db

They're tasty, especially when compared with dried pizzle sticks!

I must be attracted to dead looking things because I love it....this has a twisted humor that I enjoy and agen I think the depth of field plays it up nicely. Also thanx for stopping by to look at my work, I appreciate the comments....Great job and I look forward to seeing more of your macro work.

Thanks Diana for your comments. While taking this I had two dogs licking their lips and jumping up at me - make keeping the camera steady even more fun :)
