arash khoshghadam 0 Posted August 14, 2007 This image astounds me ( no other easy way to say this ). It has the finest, most subtle balance and contrast I have ever seen. So simple yet so finely crafted. It just feels like put together from two separate shots. The contrast of calmness and action so much in contradiction. THe diagonal lines of the sea gull's wings and the captured graphic movement in contrast with the steadiness and stagnation as implied with those flamingos- themselves mysterious birds of many mythes - with those long vertical legs (steadiness) and the curved profiles doubling the sense of tranquility in the background. Perfect professional focus I envy, and the position of the camera I praise. No obtrusive shadows despite the intensity of such pounding sunlight. Bravo. I can't really satiate my eyes thirst to no matter how long I stare, and these are not just words. Thanks for sharing. I learned a lot. Link to comment
arash khoshghadam 0 Posted August 14, 2007 I wanted to ask for courtesy to save the image and show it in my photography class If you don't mind ( with your name accompanying it of course ). Link to comment
guy.steen 0 Posted August 14, 2007 Hi Arash, Thanks for your kind critique! I have to admit, as with every good picture, some luck was involved: I thank my lens and camera for the sharp focus! I have no problem what so ever you using this picture in your class. Never thougt one of my pictures would end up in a photography class...! :-) Guy Link to comment
