arcanum-xiii1 0 Posted August 14, 2007 Nice one. I love the contrast, the details you have, the fact that most shadows has details. But I think if it was a little less centric, if you have seen the root, maybe it will have been interesting too? One thing that bother me is the black sky . I imagine it's a polarized filter? lonebearimages 0 Posted August 14, 2007 Debjit, I love these bristlecones so much and this is a wonderful image. My only nit is that I wish you had included the base of the tree. Nice contrasts. At the high altitude the strong polarization is more apparent, but its okay in the B&W. Nice work. A 6/6 anonymously. Cheers! Chris Link to comment
debjit 0 Posted August 14, 2007 thanks everybody for your time. S颡stien, yes its the effect of polarization at higher altitude as Chris point out rightly. Chris, yup a bit more of the base of the tree would have worked but i was working on the widest end of my focal length :-) Link to comment
arcanum-xiii1 0 Posted August 15, 2007 You can still make a step back when you're at the wide end... except if there's a fall just behind :) Link to comment
