thadley 15 Posted August 13, 2007 I love the 50/50 split. When is the best time to visit the malbaie for fall colors? Link to comment
asr 0 Posted August 13, 2007 Tony, the best time for fall colors would be the week leading up to Canadian Thanksgiving. The parc closes after that (i.e. no more services and fees, it's a free for all ;) ). I'll be there during the long weekend of Thanksgiving - if you're planning on getting there, we can meet up! asr 0 Posted September 14, 2007 Malbaie river canyon is home to the steepest cliffs east of the Rockies in Canada. The approximate height is 1km. The river furrows through the mountains making two wierd 90-degree turns before crashing into the St-Laurent river. It's an extremely difficult place to take photographs (IMO) despite it's natural beauty. Further compounded by blocked access in the winter (you have to ski in 26kms to just get to the entrance). Taken in fall in 2006. 20D, 24-105, F16, 1/15s, ISO 100, tripod, etc. Link to comment
lalit 0 Posted September 14, 2007 Nice composition and colors, probably it will look much better on the large print than the web version. Link to comment
