mookx 0 Posted August 12, 2007 It was a messy distracting barbecue table behind the subject ... so mask B/W and Gaussian blur was the only way out. Comments appreciated! Link to comment

giggles 0 Posted August 14, 2007 I like the idea but it looks like she is floating in air. Maybe try to just color in the guitar and then lower the saturation so it is very light pink. Just a thought... Link to comment

tracie 0 Posted February 4, 2008 Hi BrendanThis is an adorable image and great capture on your part.I agree with the comment that it looks like she is floating though. If you kept the foreground where she is sitting in focus and blur just the background I'm sure that would solve that issue.I like the idea too of desaturating the girl and guitar just a little bit. I would add a pink/red/magenta toning to the b/w part of the image (to add to the girly feel for this image) and then try a dark vignette on the outside of the image to bring more focus to the girl (something I've seen wedding photographers use a lot of).Just a few suggestions and things I would try. Don't know if they will work. Good luck. Link to comment
maggies 0 Posted August 7, 2008 I love this childs serious and involved expression. I also think it's appropriate that she appears to be floating because she looks like an angel. I find this image outstanding..7/7..Marjorie Link to comment
