alvaro 0 Posted August 12, 2007 The Peregrine Falcon is the fastest animal on the planet in its hunting dive, the stoop, in which it soars to a great height, then dives steeply at speeds of over 322 km/h (200 mph) hitting one wing of its prey, so as not to harm itself on impact. Link to comment
afshinazizi 0 Posted August 12, 2007 Great shot.Taking shots like this is really hard , but yet you could have better focusinf. The wings of the bird are not focused very well.7/6 Link to comment
stoatsngroats 1 Posted August 12, 2007 Despite the comment from Afshin - this is incrediblely good! 6/6 Link to comment
leroy laverman 0 Posted August 12, 2007 The focus is fine. It's the depth of field that's the issue. IMHO it's not really a problem. The attention is on the bird's face and eye. I think adding a bit more space to the right of the bird would help with composition (see attached). With moving birds it's nice to give them some space to fly into. Link to comment
alvaro 0 Posted August 12, 2007 Thanks everyone and specially Leroy, I agree with everything you said (It was shot at f4 so wings are not off focus they are out of DOF). There is already some space added using software but I did not want to push my luck with the clone tool. Your version is very good so I am including a visible version of it here for everyone to look.
