gnashings 5 Posted August 10, 2007 It doesn`t really look like a solarization to me - perhaps its my monitor (it does that, really cuts out the finer points).. Care to elaborate on the type of re-exposure you used, etc? Link to comment
jay_waterhouse 0 Posted August 12, 2007 I created a duplicate layer in photoshop and solarized it, then created a layer mask and put a gradient over it to make the right side solarized. Link to comment
gnashings 5 Posted August 21, 2007 Oh...I see. I almost thought you solarized a photograph and was about to try to see where you went wrong in hopes of constructive criticism... But you didn't SOLARIZE anything. You manipulated some files in a computer to poorly simulate what you think is solarization. Perhaps you care to look up the terms "solarization", "Sabatier effect" and then cross refernce them (you can use your computer to do that) with the term "digital image manipulation". Perhaps then you will be able to refrain from misusing terms and deluding yourself into thinking that you actually know how to do something about which you obviously have no clue. Link to comment
