debrakgutierrez 0 Posted August 10, 2007 Perfect description: Sunrise. That's exactually what I thought when I first viewed it, and that was BEFORE I noticed the title. This is a nice photo to look at in the morning and comtemplate the day. Link to comment

sonneland 0 Posted August 11, 2007 I very seldom rate more than one image per photographer, but this is just too good to pass by and what a perfect title for it. Another really nice image, well done Daniel!! Link to comment

eye of the lens 0 Posted August 12, 2007 Now Daniel after all these great comments don't let the 3/3 get to you. We know hoe good it is and so do you. I know it's hard sometimes to let it go. As long as you know THE TRUTH that's what matters the most. The truth is it's a job well done. :) Barbara Link to comment
tidris 0 Posted August 12, 2007 I am really impressed and envious of this photo that you have kindly shared with us. The high saturation levels are perfect for this shot. Congratulations and thank you for sharing. Taha Link to comment
j.k._york 0 Posted August 13, 2007 i like that you didn't crop at the halfway point of the flower as the center node is the point at which the blossom converges, or expands if you will. love the color, especially the yellow ring around the center. i am up in the air with the light grey background, but it doesn't distract at all. on one hand its nuetrality only enhances the natural beauty of the flowers color. on the other i imagine a bold blue. anyway, i like it. regards, J.K. danstan 0 Posted August 13, 2007 Thanks JK. The flower was at my neighbors house, so I couldn't cut it, so I had to take the background that was there. I don't know how to change the BG color in PS. db Link to comment
j.k._york 0 Posted August 13, 2007 Hey Daniel, just a quickie knock-out variation. easy to do in PS with such clean lines of seperation. e-mail me if you want to know more. J.K. Link to comment
j.k._york 0 Posted August 14, 2007 the flat gray is best i think after side by side comparison. only other color is in competition and is a distraction. Link to comment
tidris 0 Posted August 14, 2007 Just noticed your comments about the bg colour and JK's attempt at the blue bg. I agree with his analysis. I tried to change the colour to a duller blue which makes a slight difference but no more than having a grey bg. Here it is: Link to comment
