aginbyte 0 Posted August 7, 2007 ... in the larger version the tower to the right seems overexposed and there is some chromatic aberation on the buildings on the right. It is the kind of thing one often sees in HDR. Is this an HDR? Link to comment
ianward 0 Posted August 7, 2007 Hi, Thanks for all your comments, I really appreciate them. No Dennis this is a straight forward shot. The overexposure on the roof was unavoidable, the sun was so bright I had to find a happy medium to give a decent exposure to the buildings in the shade. The tower is pure white and a great reflector, it was so bright you could not look at it! The light was only like this for @ 5 mins so I had to make the most of the situation. In fact the rain clouds you see coming in, shed their water about an hour later. Link to comment
bretsch 0 Posted August 7, 2007 Yes the sky is absolutely magnificent; and having just read your last comment, I think that the exposure you used was the right way to go. Congratulations! Link to comment
ianward 0 Posted August 7, 2007 Thank Juan. It is a shame that I couldnt get more detail in the tower to really top it off. Link to comment
