I like the idea and the strong light suits it well...I always thought shadow always has a special impact transforming the mundane into extrordinary and mysterious and you give a nice proof here...

Great shot - the shadows make it even more interesting. There is a hint of magenta or mauve in the shadows which has a good appeal. Your choice of course, but with PS balance you could change that - then again, it may be my monitor that is not properly balanced. In any event, I like the image and it starts me thinking about which dish I can prepare involving these peppers.

Thanks for your recent comment on one of my images.

Hi Tony. The color choice was entirely intentional. I liked the magenta/purple shadows, which were more interesting than boring old gray ones. I also added a yellowed background as a complement.

Anyhow, thanks for your comments. You guys keep me on my toes.

I see a very unusual POV. Makes the shot very eyecatching. The chilies make my stomach hurt but the image is easy on the eye. Very nice.

Now, doesn't a fistful of jalepenos make your world turn upside down? Being an Austin girl, this should seem like a family portrait.

Thanks for your comment on my bio pic. Of course, the puppet is Freud. As a therapist, he doesn't say much, but he's a good listener!

A well composed shot. The speckles in the shadows make this picture for me. Nicely done!

Jeff, if you eat the chilis , you start seeing ghosts... lol

Nice one with the shadows biased to the R side and the chilis to the L....

Pnina, Hasan, Alberto, and CT: I appreciate your comments. This was a normal day at the market while I lived in San Antonio. The hotter the better. The ghost part is the shadow, but also the memory of wilder bachelorhood and youth (gladly traded in for a milder married life).
