The framing is what you have done appropriately with the entire length of the guitar- the secondary focal point making a diagonal line, creating some sort of animation or dynamism. It differs from the time the guitar would be held vertically in the man's grip if the man were not playing it. That would be a static image. This one is still playing. The expression in the man's face is what i admire about your timing because that is what you intented to show us. A sortof sulking joy nostolgically going over the vivid sweetness of the youth playfulness and freedom now beyond reach. The diffused lighting condition has softened the shadows. The tranquility created goes perfectly with the dominating mood: soft, hanging there like a cool caressing breeze that tickles the skin. You could use a polarizer to cancle out the sinister reflection on the water behind the man reducing the eye-soreness of the glare. I would also crop a little bit of the space above the man's head to distibute the weight of his presence in the frame better. Link to comment
