Dark foreground. Does it work?

The dark foreground does work. I really like the eeriness of this image. My only problem is the title. I would have never noticed the bird, had the title not told me to look for it. When looking at this image, I am immediately interested in the post on the far right. I wonder what it is, how tall it really is...

Thank you Dorian. The post is a brick water tower. I think its hight is about 25 m (75 ft). I change the title from 'Black bird' to 'Silence', hope it will help.
