Taken at a local Denny's. It's moody, and a little sad I suppose,

but I like the feel that this photo gives off, and hey it's hard to

find emotion like this at chain restraunts. Hope you like - Julian

I love this picture. The man is looking away with angry eyes. He doesn't seem to be concerned by the affection the girl is trying to give him. Or is it my imagination? Who cares anyway, the picture is great.

Hey Julian,

I haven't seen this one but I really like it. Great capture of emotions, I can remember being in many situations such as this myself (I think she just told him she just wants to be friends!). Take it easy and keep up the good work. By the way, when are you going to post the greyhound pic I like?

great shot. I like the fall off from him to her. I also like how she had a little movment and he's tact sharp. the glasses in front of them is a great add.

A wonderful shot. The sharp contrast of the black and white image is repeated in the faces of the subjects. The man is rigid, angry and focused on the precise moment while the woman is soft. Loving yet sad, with her minds eye fixed on some happier time.

Too bad about the glasses in the foreground.

I love the way the shallow depth of field softens the girl in contrast to the guy -- it fits their looks and expressions: she dreams while he ponders. What's on their minds?

Perhaps you could crop the drink at the right frame out? And perhaps a bit of the top as well so that the top of his hat doesn't line up with it? Then again, that might make it too cramped. Just a thought. Nice work!

The guy looks a little pissed and you with the Nikon clacking away, did he say anything? Anyways, very nice shot.

I'm not sure that this photo is that great technically - the girl could be in better focus, the hot spots at the top could be elimiated - but it is striking and memorable and evocative of young people at that age. Nice work.
