Lost at Sea

Shipwreck on Hatteras Island Beach. Estimated to have wrecked in

the early 1900's. It is coved by sand for years at a time until a

storm washes away the covering sand to expose it. We so happend to

be visiting the island while it was visible in June 2007. Your

comments are greatly appreciated.

Maybe there's no need of the shaded edges!

Pierre, Thanks for your critique. I decided to darken the corners because I felt the photo did not have enough contrast. The whites in the waves did not pop enough and there were very few black tones. This was my way to add tonal contrast. I value your opinion. Thanks again.

Holly, I'm so glad you joined the club. I look forward to seeing your work. I have some ideas for next months topic but now I just need to find the time to do it.
