Cold Rock in Water / Techpan 120mm

Daniel, how do you like the 9000? I really enjoy your thoughts on photography in general. I've considered ordering some Kodachrome due to your efforts with this film. Nice B&W image. - Sean

I love the 9000ED, well worth the money. But, I use the rotating glass holder exclusively. It really makes all the difference. I see this version of the image has a denser look than what I worked with on my screen in PS, I might need to adjust it for web...

Thank you very much! The detail on the full sized scan, about 270MB in 16 bit...is flat out incredible. This file is going to produce a grainless 4 foot wide print.

 

It is truly a crime that Kodak no longer makes this film and has since, permanently dismantled the coating facility.

 

I wish I had more of this film than I do, some 150 rolls of 35mm and 100 rolls of 120. Just enough to shoot like it is the last roll on earth and get some great stuff.

The shape of the rock reminds me of Matterhorn. Nice shot. Best wishes. Peter
