erikadams 0 Posted July 31, 2007 I'd be interested in what you think I should do with the sky. Is it OK as is, or needs to be brighter or slightly different hue? I've been trying to think about some PS stylized treatment, but I can't settle on anything. Ideas? Thanks for your input. Link to comment
edith_frederick 0 Posted July 31, 2007 Erik, I looked at you interesting portfolio and read your bio. You are developing your substantial skills at photography and you already have a life! That's good! My question in response to your sky question is: what do you foresee for this photograph of wind towers? Are you thinking of this one photo? a series? a photo essay? illustration? publication? This photo works as a simple, evening reality -- as comfortable with this relatively unusual technology and structure as with the streetlights winking on in the neighborhood. I'd like to see this perspective as a series at different times of the day and night, with the gound changing in the light. Perhaps a familiarizing series could be part of a counter NIMBY campaign. I looked at Wilson Tsoi's portfolio today and noted his photos of old windmills in the Netherlands. Did they ever look outlandish to anyone, or were they just born picturesque? Link to comment
lex_photo 0 Posted July 31, 2007 I like this color blue. I think it is a nice contrast to the white windmill. Thanks for sharing -Lex Link to comment

steppenwolf 0 Posted January 11, 2008 Great shot. Like the way you have chosen not to freeze frame the blades against the deep blue sky. Link to comment
