chris hughes 0 Posted July 30, 2007 This is a fantastic find. I love this kind of thing. It's beautifully composed and tells a unique story. The only thing I might do is try re-shooting it with a polarizer to bring out a little more detail in the sky. Other than that, it's a home run of an image. 6/6 Link to comment
patrick j dempsey 1 Posted July 30, 2007 Ive never used a Polarizer with a rangefinder camera, but It seems like a little bit of a pain in the butt. I should try it though, because I would like to see more sky than this. Link to comment
chris hughes 0 Posted July 31, 2007 Yeah, I didn't notice it was a range-finder until after I made the comment. I've never paired a range-finder with a polarizer either. Not sure how that would work. I guess you'd probably need to bracket a bunch to find the right setting for the filter. Seems like an interesting subject to bring up in the forums. Someone on the site probably has plenty of experience using that combination. Link to comment
williams_gallery 0 Posted December 15, 2007 I agree with the other comments - very strong composition, and the details keep me moving around within the frame. This is exactly the kind of landscape I'm working on in Pittsburgh right now, but mine are going to end up as Polaroid transfers to paper. Matt Link to comment
