Agree, you find out what is popular or impressive to others only when you ask for and receive broad feedback. Try the same thing with a group of non-photographer friends and it's also enlightening, seeing who likes what. My way of trying his is to show a bunch of stuff and ask everybody to say: If you could only pick 3, which are the best, and if you had to throw 3 of them away, which ones would you toss? It's a very interesting exercise.

 

Anyway, I also really like this a lot. All those lines, which appear literally in every single element all the way to the flat roof on the top left and the white building side next to it, the umbrella tops, the deck, everything, they really make this stand out. Fantastic job on your part in putting it all together with the balconies on the right. Bravo!

This has a nice geometry to it. Great view, even if I feel a little dizzy looking down at the post stamp of a pool.
