paulstenquist 4 Posted July 27, 2007 Crop in much tighter on the left and top. Right up to her bouquet and elbow on the left and to just above the candle at top. Cropping off a bit of the dress is okay. I would also rotate it about one degree clockwise. Adjust curves, minusing green a bit. You may also want to dodge the red area of her cheeks and desaturate locally. Link to comment
kimberly_welty 0 Posted July 27, 2007 thank you paul, i agree with cropping. what about the shadow i'm getting behind the husband? it sticks out the most to me! Link to comment
jeff_oxford 0 Posted July 27, 2007 Hi. Regarding the pose...it may not be the most conventional set up, but if it is them and it is what evokes emotion in the person who the photo is for-then it is probably perfect. I could take a picture of a man in front of a tree. To everyone else, just a man in front of a tree-boring. But this was the tree this man used to climb when he was a child-to him, an extraordinary shot that evokes emotion. Emotional response is not universal. Tighter crop might be better. Yellowish tint (indoor), can you filter that out at all? Link to comment
rob wray 0 Posted July 28, 2007 An emotional image of a couple who really look devoted. The image appears to be done under room lights so there is that yellowish tint to it. If not shot in RAW and the balance converted to the correct white balance you could always try colour balance correction. On these occasions I find turning the image into black and white does quite a good job. I have done a version for you to view, if you do not want the image around just say and I will delete it. Kind regards Rob Link to comment
