Donna Stavis 0 Posted July 26, 2007 Sarah, wherever did you find this charming cat? When I first adopted my dog, Sally, she was a puppy. She was lethargic at the animal shelter, which I soon discovered had been her terror of being abandoned and alone. When I brought her home, she began racing up and down the hall into the kitchen...so incredibly happy, her front paws out almost poised for emergency landings when suddenly she discovered the oven with the black glass front. She discovered her own reflection and was charmed by it. She learned how gorgeous she is. (or perhaps she just thought there was another dog...). She raced up and down the long corridor and kitchen dozens of times that evening, each time stopping to admire herself and then tail up and wagging, race for the squeeze toy and continue on and on. This pose reminds me of that very happy day when she first fully came into my life. Your cat has such such beautiful eyes and seems so gentle. I love the pink background and little bit of wood floor to frame this. There is such incredible peace and warmth in your photographs, Sarah. Warm regards, Donna Link to comment
hy 0 Posted July 26, 2007 Very nice capture, Sarah. Very cute expression, great colors and light. Is it correct, that cats see their reflexion, but dogs don't? Best regards Link to comment
cherlyn 1 Posted July 26, 2007 So sweet & tender image, Sarah. I am sure they are your beloved adorable pets, most beautiful in their owner's eyes. Link to comment

alibek 0 Posted July 26, 2007 I am just happy to see such a neat variety of the associations every single songtitle gives us. In your image, the cats are captured tender and in the movement... gracious movement--so slow that we probably won't notice it, as I can imagine how the two cats shall slowly build a 'bridge' to each other--the foreground cat cat is already loking at your adored pet...and their heads build a very cute ensemble, almost as if it was a mirror! Nicely, very carefully done. -Alibek Link to comment
bob_belanger 1 Posted July 26, 2007 Nice translation of the title. I like the job you did using the reflection to kind of superimpose the message of what we see as beautiful. Nice job. Link to comment

jeffl7 0 Posted July 27, 2007 Hi Sarah. This is such a sweet photo. This little one is such a cutie-pie. Of course, I realize that he/she is staring at his/her own reflection. Well, why not? If I were that cute, I'd look at myself all day long, too. Nice capture and a great take on the title that only you could do. Link to comment
