Not the most interesting light but tried to do something different

with the DOF and composition. Did it work?

Hugo,I think you have brought an interesting presentation to an essentially flat landscape. (pun unavoidable) I don't think the light is all that bad but unless you stumble upon an extraordinary configurations of trees it's limited aesthetically. I like how you have enhanced the dynamic by the foreground diagonal and added some sparkling color with the sky. The greens suggest recovery, welcome news to us all. IMHO you have pushed this to its limits. Well done. I would love it if an expert would contradict me. Regards, Bernie

i do very much like the combination of fore- and background. the similar structure tends to confuse the beholders eye and creates an impressive effect. maybe in black and white it would be even more dramatic. :-) best regards, wolfgang...
