anderlsp 0 Posted July 30, 2007 Hi, very nice landscape picture. Just the middle part is quite dark, especially on the right side. Andreas Link to comment
oneteacup 0 Posted July 30, 2007 A beautiful shot, though the "blue" in the sky rings a little false, in my opinion. Or perhaps its is the oveall blue tint of the phtograph which I think detracts a bit from it. Link to comment
david brown 0 Posted July 30, 2007 Thanks for the comments, a polarising filter was used to remove the glare not Photoshop. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted February 24, 2008 No doubt, the scenery is beautiful. All these Canada photos transmit tranquility of the nature, perfect harmony. Looking at this one it makes me think how wonderful it would be to go there one day, rent a cottage and a boat, go out on the lake, have cigar on the lip and fish. Then get a trout or what ever, do the fire and prepare the fish. In the evening it would be so quiet, some birds singing somewhere, an odd braking branch under a moose or lynx. Taking an early swim in the no doubt cold water, having morning coffee, the vapour raising from the cup against the morning sun. Link to comment
peter_daalder 0 Posted March 30, 2008 G'day David,This is a great reflection shot taken in awesome location. I'm not surprised that you would like to return to these kind of landscapes.A couple of your previous commentators made some observations that I could agree with. Your scan of this Velvia slide does lean towards a cyan cast.It has been a long while since I've edited a submitted image to accompany a comment/critique. So, I hope you don't mind my amended version attached herewith... Link to comment

photo_dark 1 Posted July 9, 2008 Wow David, you've really outdone yourself here! What a beautiful setup and capture. Daytime landscape can be tough, but you have absolutely nailed it here. Great capture! I might have included more foreground vs. sky, but that's a purely stylistic choice. Lake minniwanka if i'm not mistaken? Link to comment
