Hi, i'm 16 and have been doing this for almost two years. Please take

a look at my photos, and tell me how i'm doing :)

This is good. I like the cropping (whether it was done in camera or not). The only thing i would like to see is more color saturation. I'm not an expert on color film, but maybe try doing some research or ask around about films that have good saturation - to really bring out the blue sky, and the browns, pinks, etc. You might try working with some slide film. All in all, a good photo. Just keep shooting whenever you can and look for different ways of making the mundane interesting. For your age i think you're on the right track!
