bretsch 0 Posted July 22, 2007 Pushed B&W film, polarizer, and red filter experimenting in interiors . Please let me know your thoughts about it; thank you Link to comment
petespositives 0 Posted July 22, 2007 Hi Juan Carlos! I am very fond of B&W film work and thoroughly enjoy the effects created through pushing. Combined with a dynamic composition (and a red filter) you have used these elements to develop a powerful image. Not bad for a Ferrari fan! Best wishes Pete Link to comment
the holk 0 Posted July 22, 2007 this image has wonderful lines and ist very harmonic balanced. not too easy on a objekt like a staircase. you did a very good job on this. also the fading of greytones from darker to lighter tones from the down left to the upper right side fits very good into the whole arrangement. very nice photo! cheers. toloduran 0 Posted July 23, 2007 Un magnifico encuadre donde esta combinacion de curvas y rectas le confiere un especial dinamismo. Pienso que has creado un interesante degradado y B&w. con los filtros que has utilizado. Felicidades. Link to comment
Un abrazo y felices vacaciones Link to comment
Link to comment
jeffl7 0 Posted July 24, 2007 A unique take on this subject. I love the darkened, ascending figures. Having them move through the grain gives such atmosphere. I also like the figure in the lower center, sitting quietly while the figures move overhead. Great photo. Link to comment
Enhorabuena. andrea-de-bonis 6 Posted January 17, 2008 this is very very good, as composition and bw. perfect thee two persons. just you have to make attention at the noise and at the artefacts arounds column. bravo. i love your bw Link to comment
bretsch 0 Posted January 17, 2008 Thank you for your comment Andrea, I'm really glad you liked the picture. As of the grain, it was intentional since this was taken with a pushed B&W iso 400 film; regarding the artifacts, you may be confusing a very light part of the glass frame, that just happened to be behind the border of the column, thus giving is a very strange effect. comperry 0 Posted September 15, 2010 I really love this black and white image of the staircase with the two men cast in dark shadow.. This photo gives me the feeling that the men could be ghosts or maybe a part of somebody's dream :) Link to comment
