torfinn 0 Posted July 21, 2007 Excellent! Great colours, and composition. Like that misty ground, and that sunny cliff. Wonderful! Best regards, Torfinn. Link to comment
johncrosley 1 Posted July 21, 2007 The stuff calendars are made of. If doesn't get much better than this. (not rated as outside my rating genres, but would rate extremely high.) John (Crosley) Link to comment

regis 0 Posted July 22, 2007 Beautiful stuff Ronald. The mood you presented here is unbelievable. I have an impression your photo is slightly tilted to the left, but maybe it's just an illusion. Anyway - great photo. Cheers, Piotr Link to comment
ronald_capasso 0 Posted July 22, 2007 Yosemite is a favorite destination for many landscape photographers, myself included. The crowds in summer, however, can deter me from going. This shot was at a lull in visitation... after Thanksgiving and before Christmas. The fresh snow and a near full moon were too much to resist the three hour drive. The day before a full moon is always best for landscapes {there is still enough ambient light to record a scene and include the moon} . This scene was fraught with exposure problems as one might guess. Graduated neautral density filters make many things possible and helped record one of my favorite memories of Yosemite. Thanx again for kind words. Ron Link to comment
patflynn 0 Posted July 22, 2007 This is probably the finest landscape I've seen on PN in at least five years. What makes it for me is the snowy ground-level mist and the pink clouds above the red rock. IMHO the moon does not add anything - if it were me I would have PS'd it out. But many congratulations on this capture, it is superb. Link to comment
