mommix 0 Posted July 25, 2007 Fantastic and lovely expression of young woman in this superb portrait with contrasting colours and lights very intensive. Compliments and regards, Maury Link to comment
alan p 0 Posted July 26, 2007 You have been very busy in my portfolio and thanks very much for your comments. They are very much appreciated. I think this is a great street 'photo. My problem is usually I am a little reluctant to try to talk to the individual (since I'm in China and I don't speak Chinese!) so they're grab shots. This one is well composed. The background is perfect given what you say about the location and subject and the smile is just fantastic. Link to comment
kraubenheimer 0 Posted July 26, 2007 Thank you very much for commenting. Alan - I am also reluctant - very reluctant! I went with a friend as one of our projects for our photography class was street portrait!! She actually asked them if we can take a picture! Personally I prefer 'stolen' shots - more authentic! But sometimes a pose is not bad! Link to comment
adan1 0 Posted July 26, 2007 Very nice shot Karlien. I agree with you about stolen shots being more authentic. Link to comment
kraubenheimer 0 Posted July 27, 2007 Thank you for comment. Yes, stolen shots = more authentic. But you will agree that it is also the most difficult! k Link to comment
