This is so funny, because it is so true! Woman at the back telling the husband 'no' just in case he invites them in and changes his mind!!

Karlien: Yep. This reminded me of my parents and grandparents when anyone came to our door selling anything: religion, vacuums, and in one case bath sponges. I remember my parents having an argument over the latter. My mom, a chatterbox, would always want to talk and end up getting suckered into a sale. My father, always grim and silent as a scarecrow, could easily shuffle folks along to the next house. Thanks for your comment.

A very funny capture indeed...I like the diagonal composition, the addition of the graphical elements from stairs and arm-guide on the wall complement it nicely....

OK so I know I'm not the first person to say this but still, Man this has got to be one of the funniest photos I have ever seen. I've still got a stitch in my side from laughing and I've been here for 5 minutes already!

This simply couldn't be any better, and the title is the icing on the cake. The humor here is as much a part of the composition as the photographic elements. I wish I had made this shot.

I posted this one awhile back, but it was taken the same day as the Garbo shot I just posted. I was wandering around back of the salon and saw these two waiting for their master. Anyhow, thanks so much for picking this one out of the line-up.

What pure pleasure it is for me to open up PN today and find this great shot in "Today's Sampling". I love how you captured them from above. I swear I can hear them discussing who's at the door. Wonderful work, Jeff.
