This is a beautiful use of color and space. The composition leads me directly from one side of this image to the other with a very strong visual resting point. I am drawn to the left side of your composition by both usage of saturation, color, form, and detail, all which make this picture very strong and very dynamic. I'd be interested to see what you think of some of my light exposure images because I've experimented with this sort of process as well.

 

My only problems with your image have to do with your location. I enjoy the color of your setting and I think that the background is dynamically side-lit by the street lamps but I find that I am at a loss as to what your background adds to this picture. Although it has some interesting elements, I am left questioning why you chose this location and why you chose to have (for instance) lit windows behind an image that is already strong image on its own. In future versions I hope that you work on either eliminating those sorts of distracting elements all together and allowing me to just concentrate on your light exposure, or that you give me a setting which adds something to the picture and gives it another layer of meaning.

Simply gorgeous, lovely play with lights!

Sometimes you just don't have a good choice of background and just have to work with what is there. It's a really nice image.
