deniselanterman 0 Posted September 11, 2007 Pnina, great gaze, sensual and defiant, great textures- smooth and rough. A wonderful portrait. It has an edgy rawness that is very captivating. Regards. Denise P.S. Thanks for your comments. I'm moving away for a year and the preparations have left me little time for my camera. I miss the perspective and intimacy of looking through my lens. gordonjb 10,860 Posted October 22, 2007 Such a strong gaze. I love that he is facing in one direction with his gaze in another direction, as if a moment before he was looking to the left and just at the moment you pressed the shutter something caught his attention from the opposite direction. Judging by his expression whatever it was he was not impressed :)Wonderful that the swirls in the plaster act like concentric rings pulling my eye in toward the subject. A very powerful portrait of what looks to be a very intense young man. Link to comment
Uhooru 2,207 Posted July 9, 2011 Pinina, your portraits are so good! I don' usually see these on the S&D forum. Must look here more often. I hope your show is a big sucess. Isn't it fun to actually see your work hanging on the wall. A dimension i don't always get wit on-line viewing. Link to comment

Uhooru 2,207 Posted July 11, 2011 It may take a couple of years before a trip to Israel would be in the cards for me. My job doesn't afford me sufficient time and sometimes funds for the venture :( Link to comment
